Utility of Ghrita in Treatment of Unmada (Unstable Mind) with special reference to Charaka Samhita

چکیده
Classifying ‘Unmada’ as psychiatric, psychological or psychosomatic disorder only limits the understanding of this vast but seldom understood subject. In Charaka Samhita, clear etiopathogenesis and subsequent line treatment indicates both internal pathology well external causes including not limited to diet, mental strength, physical injury emotional trauma. However, irrespective etiopathogenesis, a strong focus on use Ghrita based medication consumption ghee it has been observed in relation medication. This perspective study discussed references possible mode action Ghrita, especially Purana (old clarified butter) mind related pathologies.
